HGV Class 1 driver

An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious national clients based in Walsall has become available and we are currently looking for multiple HGV Class 1 drivers to support their busy peak period with block bookings and set shift patterns.
 
The role will entail and not limited to:
- Driving C+E vehicle
- Trunking work
- Trailer Swapping
- Depot to depot deliveries
- Transporting box and LST trailers
- No Handball
- Conducting vehicle checks pre and post-shift
 
To be considered for this HGV Class 1 drivers role you will need:

- Category C+E entitlement (held for minimum 2 years)
- 6 Months experience driving C+E vehicle
- Valid Tacho and DQC cards
- Clean license (desirable)
- Friendly, professional and dedicated to great customer service
- An outstanding work ethic and the ability to work at a fast pace

Benefits: For the right HGV Class 1 drivers. PAYE Pay Rates are as follows: -

- Days - £18.06ph
- Nights - £19.18ph
- Days OT - £27.09ph (After 8 hours worked)
- Nights OT - £28.77ph (After 8 hours worked)
- Various start times/shift patterns
- Guaranteed bookings until end of December 2025
- Immediate start available (pending successful driving assessment)
