Job Description

FLT Driver

We are currently recruiting an experienced FLT Driver to join our client’s busy foundry environment in the Congleton area. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable, weekday hours and long-term potential for the right candidate.

Main duties of this FLT Driver role:

Operating a Forklift Truck to transport goods and materials around the foundry
Loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently
Moving stock between production, storage, and dispatch areas
Supporting general yard and foundry operations as required
Following all health & safety procedures at all times

Skills & Experience Required for this FLT Driver position:

In-date FLT licence essential (counterbalance)
- In-house licences will be considered
Previous experience operating an FLT in an industrial or heavy environment preferred
Comfortable working in a foundry setting
Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
Good attention to detail and safety awareness
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
