IT Support Analyst – Temp 6 months – £11.76 per hour - Norwich
Organisation providing emergency medical services is seeking an experienced IT Support Analyst to support their Digital Services team in Norwich.
This is a temporary role for an initial 6 months and will pay £11.76 per hour.
Working hours:            9am to 5.30pm, Monday – Friday
The role will involve driving between sites, the successful applicant must therefore have own car and business insurance.
The IT Support Analyst will provide second line technical support to users located across all sites. They will:
  • Ensure a range of Digital information is processed in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Investigate a range of Digital issues.
  • Advise users on systems/policy.
  • Develop or adapt a range of software/web pages/information reports, or install/maintain a range of hardware and software, or analyse interpret a range of information/data, or deliver Digital training.
  • Carry out asset management tasks across the life cycle of Trust Digital hardware.
The ideal Technical Support Analyst will have the following knowledge and experience:
  • Previous IT support experience
  • Diploma in IT or equivalent knowledge/experience.
  • ECDL or equivalent knowledge.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Microsoft Certification.
  • Experience of network management systems and network monitoring.
  • Experience of computer aided dispatch systems and their associated interfaces.
  • Experience of radio systems, including analogue and digital services.
  • Experience of Telephony systems, including analogue and digital services
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows Operating Systems, Windows Server and Active Directory, LAN, WAN, wireless networking, and structured cabling topologies, PC architecture, TCP/IP networking.
  • Knowledge of backup software, and remote access software applications.
  • Able to communicate well with staff at all levels of the organisation and show tact and discretion.
  • Ability to travel between sites (full driving licence/own car)
