Job Description
Are you a passionate and dedicated Science teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a supportive secondary school? We are seeking a Science Teacher to join a well-established school in Ashington, starting immediately. This role is initially until the summer term, with the potential for a permanent position. The role is open to unqualified teachers with fantastic experience in Science or Teaching.
The Role:
✅ Teaching to KS3 and KS4 students
✅ Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
✅ Assessing and tracking student progress
✅ Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
✅Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum
The Ideal Candidate:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
✔ Experience teaching Science at secondary level
✔ Strong classroom management skills
✔ Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
✔ Commitment to fostering a love for Maths in young learners
