Salary: Up to £57,000
Location: Hybrid (3–4 days per week on-site) Bristol

Security Clearance: Must be a British Citizen or Dual UK National with British citizenship

A fantastic opportunity to join a team developing next-generation Command and Control (C2) systems for advanced air defence weapon platforms.

As a Systems Design Engineer, you’ll help operators understand the battlespace, manage weapon systems, and deliver mission-critical capability. You’ll work on both upgrades to existing C2 platforms and new developments for international customers, gaining exposure to the full product lifecycle while collaborating with software, hardware, and systems teams to ensure everything performs as it should.
You’ll contribute to the functional design of C2 software, working with architects to refine requirements, analyse system behaviour, and enhance performance. Your focus will be on improving how users interact with complex systems and solving technical challenges along the way.

We’re looking for someone with experience in systems design or systems engineering, ideally within complex or safety-critical environments. You’ll enjoy working across multiple disciplines, solving problems, and finding practical solutions. A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is equally valued.
