Building Surveyor

The post holder is responsible for the works within the LBHF repairs team and that work will cover the following areas: -
• Damp and Mould Works
• Day to day Repairs
• Refurbishment work (such and kitchen, bathroom, and window renewals etc).
• Void Works
• Complex Repair Works
• Disrepair works
• The pre/mid and post inspection of any of the above.
The post holder must ensure that the council is compliant with the Human Habitation Act 2018, and keeps abreast with any changes of legislation to ensure compliance

Requirements

• Previous experience of working as a building surveyor.
• Basic knowledge of damp and mould / Disrepair.
• Experience working with Housing Association or Councils.

Contract

• Initial 3 to 6 month contract with the opportunity to extend
• PAYE VIA UMBRELLA
• Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (Hybrid position)
