Job Description

Vox Consultants are hiring for a Social Worker to join a Local Authority based in the Southwest of England on a Locum basis.

Please do not apply for this role if you do not have a valid Right to Work in the UK, are not a Qualified Social Worker and not registered to Social Work England.

You will be:
Joining the Children’s Family Safeguarding Team; your role will be to:

Undertake comprehensive assessments including parenting assessments in a timely manner.
Undertake Care Proceedings within a Court setting, both private and public.
Initiate and complete within court timescales and achieve permanency plans for children including adoption.
Understand and respond to complexity of risks and are required to evidence on records, including providing analysis of their interventions with children and families.

Essentials:

A Social Worker Bachelor’s Degree and an ASYE completed.
The ideal Candidate will have direct experience of working within Children’s Social Work, it would be beneficial if you have previous experience of working within a Frontline Children’s Team.
Registered to Social Work England.
Right to work in the UK.
