Team Manager

Vox Consultants are hiring for a Team Manager to join a Local Authority in a London Borough on a Locum basis.

You will be:
Joining the Children Fostering Team as a Team Manager; your role will be to:

• Manage and oversee staff to ensure effective delivery of services to children and young people.
• Assist the Service Manager and Head of Service in planning and developing services for vulnerable children, young people, and their families, identifying needs and potential difficulties/challenges, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Effectively manage budgets and ensure services are cost effective.
• Produce reports and attend meetings/forums as required.

Essentials:

• A Social Worker Bachelor’s Degree and an ASYE completed, as well as 2 years of Post Qualifying Experience.
• The ideal Candidate will have direct experience of working within Children Social Work, it would be beneficial if you have previous experience of managing a Team of Social Workers.
• Registered to Social Work England.
• Right to work in the UK.
