Job Description

Vox Consultants are hiring for a Children Social Worker within a London Borough Council on a Locum basis.
Please do not apply for this role if you are not a Qualified Social Worker and are not Registered to Social Work England.

You will be:
You will be joining the Children in Need and Child Protection Team; your main responsibilities will include:

Assessing needs of children who identified as “children in need”, this involves completing assessments to determine the support necessary.
Investigating referrals.
Managing child protection cases, this includes arranging and attending Child Protection Case Conferences.
Completing Court related work.
Safeguard children.
Collaborate with other professionals within the service.

Essentials:

Valid Right to Work in the UK.
Hold a Social Work Degree and has completed an ASYE with 3 years of Post Qualifying Experience.
Registered to Social Work England.
Industry relevant Frontline Experience.
Up to date with industry knowledge and legislation.
Subject to a clear enhanced DBS check.
