Multi Trader

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our team, responsible for delivering a wide range of building repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works across Council-owned properties, including both occupied and vacant housing.
You will carry out reactive repairs, planned maintenance, and major refurbishment projects, ensuring all work is completed to a high professional standard and in full compliance with current regulations, safety requirements, and best trade practices.
Key Responsibilities

• Undertake building repairs, renewals, and replacements across multiple trades.
• Deliver reactive and planned maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
• Complete large-scale refurbishment and occupational therapy adaptation works.
• Ensure work is carried out to a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with current building regulations and Health & Safety standards.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and service targets.

Skills & Experience Required

• Competent in at least four of the following trades:
  
  • Plumbing
  • Carpentry
  • Plastering
  • Electrical / Part P
  • Tiling
  • Painting & Decorating
  • Gas Safe works
• Proven experience in property maintenance and refurbishment works.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence (desirable).
