Electrician – Domestic Properties

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to carry out a wide range of domestic electrical installation, inspection, testing, and repair works across residential properties. You will ensure all works are completed to QCC standards, fully certified, and accurately recorded, while delivering a professional, customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake domestic electrical repairs, installations, inspection and testing.
• Complete NICEIC (or equivalent) certification and all associated documentation.
• Read and set out work from engineering drawings.
• Operate and maintain electrical testing equipment, taking appropriate action where safety risks are identified.
• Supervise and support apprentices or trainees when required.
• Liaise with supervisors, admin teams, client officers, and residents to agree works and variations.
• Record works, materials, and updates using handheld IT systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials in line with safety and quality procedures.
• Respond to emergency call-outs and support borough-wide emergencies when required.
• Work in full compliance with Health & Safety, asbestos procedures, and quality management systems.

Essential Requirements

• City & Guilds Electrical Qualification including 2391 Inspection & Testing.
• Current NICEIC (or equivalent) certification experience.
• Strong knowledge of domestic electrical works and regulations.
• Ability to work independently or lead small teams.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Commitment to excellent customer care and safe working practices.
