Role Overview:
We are looking for dedicated and empathetic SEMH Teaching Assistants to join our team in Wembley. In this role, you will support students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges, helping them to engage positively in their learning and develop essential life skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support to students with SEMH needs, both individually and in groups.
• Assist teachers in creating and implementing tailored interventions and strategies.
• Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment.
• Monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and encouragement.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to promote student well-being.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEMH needs or in similar roles.
• Strong communication, patience, and empathy.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with students and staff.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification)
