Fire Damper Engineer – London - £45,000

We are representing a nationwide fire & security company that carries out the full fire & security Services From Design. Install To Maintenance Across The South East, due to sheer growth, they are seeking a Fire Damper Engineer to join their growing team.


Salary Package:

• £40,000 - £45,000
• Travel Time Paid After A Hour Each Way Is Given
• 20 Days Holidays & 8 Days Bank (Option to buy 5 extra days)

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire and smoke dampers in accordance with:

BS 9999, BS 9991 / BS EN 1366-2, BS EN 15650 / ASFP and local authority requirements

• Carry out periodic fire damper drop tests and visual inspections.
• Identify non-compliant, damaged, or inaccessible dampers and record deficiencies.
• Perform minor remedial works, including:
• Replacement of fire dampers and smoke dampers
• Installation of access panels
• Repair or replacement of fusible links, actuators, and blades
