Temporary Customer Service Advisor

Pertemps Stoke are currently seeking a motivated and professional Temporary Customer Service Advisor to join our client’s team in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

Key Responsibilities of this Customer Service Advisor role:

  • Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide accurate information regarding products and services via phone, email, or online chat.
  • Handle customer complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Assist with the processing of orders and provide updates on delivery or service status.
  • Accurately input customer details and maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer queries are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain and report on customer feedback, trends, and service performance as needed.
Skills required for this Customer Service Advisor role:
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is highly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a clear and friendly phone manner.
  • Able to handle challenging customer situations and find appropriate solutions quickly.
  • Accurate and thorough in documenting customer interactions and transactions.
  • Able to work effectively within a team environment, supporting colleagues when needed.
  • Comfortable using computer systems and customer service software; familiarity with Microsoft Office is an advantage.
  • Must be able to work rotational shifts (06:00-14:00 & 10:00-18:00, Monday to Friday).
Details of this Customer Service Advisor role:
  • Salary: £25,000 per annum.
  • Temporary ongoing position
  • Free onsite parking
  • Hours of work: Rotational 6am-2pm & 10am-6pm Monday to Friday
  • Location: Stoke-on-Trent
