Job Role:
- Supporting children in Key Stage 2 across all areas of the curriculum.
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to help pupils meet learning objectives.
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
- Working closely with colleagues to identify and support the individual needs of pupils.
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in a Key Stage 2 setting.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable.
- A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting children.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A valid DBS check on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
