SEN Teaching Assistant - Camden

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant with experience supporting students with special educational needs (SEN)? A fantastic secondary school in Camden is looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide vital support to students with a variety of learning needs, helping them reach their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Role Overview:

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Location: Camden
• Interview Date: Immediate
• Contract: Full-Time / Long-Term 
• Salary: £102 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to support primary-aged students with a range of learning difficulties, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and complex needs. You’ll work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to create a supportive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with primary-aged students with SEND
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• Confidence providing both 1:1 and small group support
• The ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff
• A proactive, flexible attitude with a passion for helping students achieve their best

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students to help them access lessons and meet their individual learning goals
• Assist in developing and implementing personalised learning strategies
• Encourage positive behaviour, emotional well-being, and social skills development
• Collaborate with teachers to ensure the curriculum is accessible for all students
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive school environment where every student feels supported and valued
